"So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." Romans 1:15-16

I have always had a passion for the gospel and seeing the lost saved, but it was in 2004 that God placed evangelism on my heart. The Lord has taken me through various circumstances over the past three years to prepare me, as Peter, to get out of the boat. Matthew 14:27-29 says, “But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.” Just as Jesus told Peter to “Come,” I feel in my heart, Jesus is saying for me to “Come.” His words compel me to get out of the boat, keep my eyes on Him, and attempt great things for our Lord.
With the urgency of the hour we live in and the condition of our world, my family and I are launching out into full-time missionary evangelism. With the Holy Spirit going before us, we will be raising our full support and preaching the gospel to the uttermost. Acts 1:8 instructs, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Please pray for us as we share Jesus through revivals, crusades, conferences, extended missions outreach, and other ministry opportunities.
I echo Paul’s sentiments in I Corinthians 9:16 when he said, “For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me: yea, woe is onto me, if I preach not the gospel!” So with conviction, passion, and the enabling power of the Holy Spirit, we launch out to “open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.” (Acts 26:8) Amen and amen!
